RAHUL DRAVID - THE TEAM WALL.

RAHUL DRAVID -  the team wall.
The england-india test series saw one of the most appalling shows by the indian batsmen for a very long time but for except one man , RAHUL DRAVID - THE WALL ,  a man possessed of high technical ability and great temperament, who has time and again showed what kind of international player he is.
The series gave world cricket fans some of the most grinding and toughest innings played by a player in toughest of conditions. there was a lone warrior from the indian side and  rightly so as many people said the contest was between rahul dravid and england team.
A lord's century , denied to him on debut, in 2000th test. a grinding ton on lively trent bridge pitch. and a more solid temperamental innings at the oval  to deny the inevitable whitewash as the fellow mates could not stand up against the dreadful well balanced english attack in testing conditions by carrying his bat through.
True team man who would do anything for the team from keeping wickets to opening the batting in test matches whenever the team needs him to. he will play his last one day series and there is every possibility now that he may end his limited overs career on high by scoring few more centuries as he looks to be in prime form this season.
